Our teachers made a scavenger hunt for us, so that we could learn more about the school and some of the stories from the past. The purpose of this was to realise and take notice of the things that we walk past every day and don't pay any attention to.
To do the scavenger hunt we were put into groups and then we were given a map with a set of clues. The clues matched up to numbers on the map and this showed where we had to look for things.
We had two different scavenger hunts to do because there were so many things to notice and also this gave us a chance to reflect on our first attempt to work in this group, and to come up with different strategies of doing it.
